Description:

LB 986 amends the Agricultural Opportunities and Value-Added Partnership Act to allow grants for the implementation of electronic scanners or point-of-sale devices to expand the ability of Nebraskans to utilize federally subsidized food and nutrition program benefits at farmers markets.

Passed by the Legislature, 46-0-3, on April 9, 2010. Approved by the Governor April 12, 2010.
