Require a report relating to employed recipients of benefits under the medical assistance program.

Description:

LB790 requires the Department of Health and Human Services to compile and publish an annual report that lists each employer in Nebraska which employed ten or more individuals receiving medicaid benefits during the previous year. The report shall also list the number of employees receiving medicaid benefits employed by each employer, as well as the city or village in which each employer is located. If the employer is located outside the corporate limits of a city or village, the report shall list the county in which the employer is located. Under LB790, every employer in Nebraska is required to cooperate with the department for the purpose of compiling the report. The report is to be published on or before March 1. Printed copies are to be provided to the Governor and Clerk of the Legislature, and a link to the report is to be provided on the department’s website.
