Require information obtained pursuant to certain arrests be forwarded to federal immigration authorities.

Description:

The bill would require police to forward information to immigration after the arrest (not conviction) of an individual for a felony-level offense or for those who refuse a chemical test for drugs or alcohol, if the police cannot determine that the individual is a citizen or legal permanent resident.

Indefinitely postponed April 14, 2010.
