| Description: |
Provisions were amended into LB549, which passed the Nebraska Legislature in 2009. Provide that early childhood education programs established by school districts or educational services units which are not receiving a grant through the early childhood grant program may serve children who meet the age requirements to attend kindergarten, but are not of mandatory attendance age. It would be a local decision to accept these children into the early childhood education program. |
