Provide procedures for closure of state residential facilities for persons with developmental disabilities.

Description:

Provide that the Dept. of Health and Human Services shall not close any state-owned or state-operated facility that provides residential services to persons with developmental disabilities without specific legislation directing its closure.  Currently, this legislation would apply only to the Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC).  CARRYOVER TO 2010 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
