| Description: |
(Introduced at the request of the Governor) Provide for deficit appropriations. Make adjustments to funding for state operations, aid and construction programs in the current fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. The appropriations will be used in programs where the forecasted cost has risen or decreased due to circumstances that were unforeseen when the budget bills were passed two years ago and subsequently amended by the Legislature in 2008. The bill includes $7 million for the Beatrice State Developmental Center. Passed 48-0-1 with the emergency clause. |
