Children’s Day Health Services

Description:

Include children's day health services under Medicaid and require licensure of entities providing such services.  Children's day health services mean a person/entity which provides specialized care for a period of less than 24 consecutive hours to eligible persons in a community-based program for four or more persons under age 21 who require such services due to medical dependence, birth trauma, congenital anomalies, developmental disorders or functional impairment.  It does not include services provided under the Developmental Disabilities Act.  CARRYOVER TO THE 2010 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
