Toyland for Kids
Toyland for Kids distributes age-appropriate holiday gifts to low-income children ages 18 and under. Parents are invited to “shop” at our warehouse to pick out the gift that best suits their child. Gifts for the Toyland for Kids program are obtained through a variety of sources, including the Center’s Nebraska Truckloads of Help program, the Lincoln Police Union Charities’ Santa’s Cop program, the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program and generous donations from the public. For 2011 Toyland for Kids, The Allstate Foundation and Lincoln Benefit Life will again be our corporate sponsors.
In 2010, this program provided 7,624 low-income children with a special gift during the holidays.
