Giving ThanksGiving Food
Giving ThanksGiving ensures that low-income families can enjoy a special holiday meal. During the week leading up to Thanksgiving, families are provided with Nebraska Truckloads of Help items and food through our Neighborhood FOOD program, in cooperation with the Food Bank of Lincoln. Grocery store vouchers are available dependent upon generous donations from the community. In 2014, nearly 10,000 people were served at Giving ThanksGiving Food.
For 2015, event hours are:
Saturday, November 21 from 9 AM to 3 PM (Doors open at 8:30 AM)
Sunday, November 22 from 1 PM to 4 PM (Doors open at 12:30 PM)
Monday, November 23 from 3 PM to 7 PM (Doors open at 2:30 PM)
