Volunteer

Without volunteers, the Center for People in Need would be unable to provide many of the programs and services we offer.  Thousands of hours each year are donated by volunteers from churches, civic groups, schools, and local businesses. In 2009, volunteers contributed 126,815 hours to Center programs like Truckloads of Help, Toyland for Kids, and Neighborhood FOOD Distribution. The value of our volunteers has been estimated at $1.9 million in labor costs. We thank our volunteers for allowing us to continue our programs in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
