OSHA Safety Training & Construction Classes
The Center for People in Need offers OSHA safety training and a construction class. Both classes are free of charge. The construction class is a three-week course consisting of 80 hours of training, plus OSHA-10 certification. The construction class offers hands-on, skill-building experience, as well as information on construction and environmental safety.
The OSHA safety training class will begin in March and is a one-week course. Participants have the choice of taking either a morning or afternoon session. OSHA safety training consists of 10 to15 hours of training with an additional five hours of “green” industry training. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certification and a card stating that they are OSHA compliant.
Both classes will be offered several times during the year. For more information contact Janice Kirchoff at the Center for People in Need at 402-476-4357 ext. 164.
