Cleaner Greener Lincoln
The Center for People in Need is a proud participant in Cleaner Greener Lincoln. Cleaner Greener Lincoln invests in neighborhoods and business across Lincoln, creating sustainable new jobs and decreasing Lincoln’s carbon emissions by thousands of metric tons. The Center is involved in a program, starting in September 2010, to help local non-profit agencies improve the energy efficiency of their facilities and save operating expenses.
Cleaner Greener Lincoln received federal stimulus funds through an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant to start the project.
