The Executive Director of the Center for People in Need has received numerous awards in recognition of her commitment to improving the lives of the most underserved in our community. Some of her recent honors include the following:

- Civic Ventures 2008 Purpose Prize Fellow - Civic Ventures is a think tank and an incubator, generating ideas and inventing programs to help society achieve the greatest return on experience. Civic Ventures awards the annaul Purpose Prize to recognize people over 60 who are taking on society’s biggest challenges.
